Otilia "Tila" Perez Harrod, 84, of DeGraff, passed away peacefully at 8:13 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born in Brady, Texas on December 13, 1941, to the late Crispin E. Perez and Guadelupe (Cervantes) Perez.

Tila is survived by her daughter, Paula (Kyle) Harrod-Zepernick; two granddaughters, Casey (Riley Wilkinson) Zepernick, and Kendall (Nicholas) Zepernick-Dierig; three nieces, Eloisa Kniss, Mary Sanchez, and Argen Bernal. In addition to her parents, Tila was preceded in death by three siblings.

Tila had retired from Riverside Local Schools where she had worked as a custodian for many years. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and lover of NASCAR and Elvis.

Pastor Chris Newland will officiate a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.
