Kenneth Richard Chamberlain Jr., 61, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 7:20 p.m. on Monday July 6, 2026, at Carecore at Heritage Minster in Minster, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 30, 1965, to Edna Jean (Hill) Chamberlain and the late Kenneth Richard Chamberlain Sr.

On June 17, 2023, Kenny married Valerie Starr (Cornwell) Chamberlain in Bellefontaine, Ohio and she survives. He is also survived by two children, Larry (Jaylyn) Hindman, and Richard Hindman; five grandchildren; two brothers, Brad (Jodi) Chamberlain, and Jeff (Shannon) Chamberlain; two sisters-in-law, Stephanie “The Girlfriend” (Herbie) Rogan, and Gale (Gene) Kindle; special friend, Mike Blair; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Kenny was also preceded in death by a sister, Leslie Chamberlain.

Kenny retired from Honda Transmission in Russells Point and loved working on cars.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 210 W. Hayes Street in DeGraff, where a funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Per Kenny’s wishes, he will be cremated after services and his urn will be buried in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Kenny’s memory, to the MDS Foundation to help children affected by the disease.
