On March 4, 2024, Hank married Amber Diane (Burchett) Weinert in DeGraff, Ohio and she survives. A carpenter, Hank was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Gulf War Era from February 13, 1989 to September 5, 1991.

Our warrior Hank is victorious in the loving arms of Jesus as of early Friday morning. Hank is free of cancer, body restored, whole in heaven now. Family was by his side. While the grief is overwhelming, there is a bit of solace in knowing he is no longer suffering. The past several days have been brutal and cruel, but his final moments were peaceful and surrounded with love.

Hank fought such a good fight. He ran the race set before him with more perseverance, love, kindness, gratitude, and bravery than we have ever witnessed before in our lives. He told us just a few weeks ago, “I have had such a good life. I got everything I ever wanted.” He believed in every fiber of his being that he already had victory, either way!

A celebration of life service will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Stone Gate Farms, 4354 County Road 64, DeGraff, OH 43318 where Pastor Nate Wilcoxon will lead a time of remembrance at 2:00 p.m. Following the celebration of life service, there will be a get together out at the farm.
