Gary Lynn Lattimer, 83, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital – Bartlett in Bartlett, Tennessee. He was born in McArthur, Ohio on June 30, 1942, to Charles Williams Lattimer and Glennadean Naomi (Salmans) Lattimer.
On July 31, 1971, Gary married Connie Jean (Harshbarger) Lattimer at Stony Creek Church of the Brethren in Bellefontaine, Ohio and she survives, along with his son, Joel (Suzanne) Lattimer of Memphis, TN; a granddaughter who was lovingly adopted as a daughter, Kristen N. Liles of Oak Ridge, TN; a granddaughter, Ansley M. Lattimer of Memphis, TN; and nephews, Anthony Pagniano and Aaron Pagniano, both of Montana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, a sister, and a brother.
Gary served in the United States Marine Corp from 1962 to 1964. He was an avid follower of the Cincinnati Reds and had a great memory for most baseball statistics. He enjoyed traveling our beautiful country shore to shore with his wife. Gary worked at Monarch Machine Tool in Sidney, Ford Motor Company in Lima, and Denso Manufacturing in Marysville, Tennessee as a machine repairman and more recently as maintenance foreman.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, in West Liberty, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
