Eric Nelson Jarrett

Eric N. Jarrett, 51, of DeGraff, passed away at 12:56 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio. He was born on January 7, 1972, in Logan County, Ohio, a son of Phyllis Jean (Edwards) Robb and the late Reyford Birian Jarrett.

Eric is survived by his wife, Wendy DePoy; three sons, David Michael Jarrett, Zack Jarrett, and Dusty Jarrett; a grandson; two sisters, Debbie (Paul) Westenberger, and Becky (Matt) Watkins; two brothers, Birian Jarrett, and Tom (Bev) Jarrett; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Eric was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Harshbarger.

Eric had worked as a truck driver and owned Rack Attack Archery. He loved to hunt, fish, and shoot archery. He was a competitive archery shooter and won several tournaments in Bristol, Tennessee.

A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street in DeGraff, where Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy, Ohio.
